HookDoc for agencies

Every agency sends proposals. Few see what happens after. HookDoc adds the review layer without changing how you make decks.

The agency proposal paradox

You spend 20 hours crafting a pitch deck in Figma. You export it as a PDF and email it to the client. Your client's team spends a combined 12 minutes reviewing it across three people over four days. You get back silence, or a one-line reply that doesn't match the effort you put in. The real review happens in a Slack channel you're not in, and the decision is made before your check-in email lands.

What HookDoc changes

Client committees review without creating accounts

The reviewer side of an agency deal is usually 2–5 stakeholders: the main contact, a director, sometimes finance or legal. Making them sign up to read your deck kills response rate. HookDoc gives them a link they can open in the browser with nothing to install.

Questions and objections stay on the document

Region comments let reviewers ask "what's this rate based on?" directly on the pricing page instead of firing off a Slack question later. When you revisit the deck, the context is already there.

Account managers get signals they can act on

Not just opens. Which reviewer sessions revisited the scope page three times. Which spent eight minutes on the pricing page. Which closed with "need to discuss pricing." So your AM can follow up on a real objection, not a guess.

Workflow stays in your tools

You keep authoring in Figma, Canva, Keynote, Google Slides, or InDesign. HookDoc reads the PDF export. No proposal editor to learn, no brand templates to rebuild.

Common agency use cases

  • Pitch deck → client executive committee review
  • Statement of work → legal and finance stakeholder review
  • Pricing proposal → procurement review
  • Design mockup → brand and marketing stakeholder review
  • Scope change doc → existing-client decision-maker review

Pricing for agencies

If your agency has 5–10 account managers sending proposals, the Team plan ($49/month, up to 10 seats) works out cheaper than individual Pro seats. Each additional seat above 10 is $5. Compared to a 10-seat DocSend Standard setup at $450/month, HookDoc Team is about one-ninth of the cost — because HookDoc doesn't bundle features your AMs don't use.

Agency FAQ

Can multiple account managers share review links for the same document?
Yes. On the Team plan, your workspace is shared across seats. Any AM can create review links, view overview, and act on signals for documents uploaded by anyone in the workspace.
Do clients see which person on my team left a comment?
Not unless you choose to show it. Sender-side comments can be shown as "Your agency" or by the specific AM's name. This is a workspace setting.
